Sr Cordelia Leisegang and Sr Brenda Wright from the University of Cape Town's Collaborating Centre for Optimising Antimalarial Therapy (CCOAT) were involved in developing (and starring in!) a video to explain to future healthy volunteers what they may expect from being in a phase 1 clinical trial. Cordelia was the previous coordinator of Global Research Nurses and passionate about the role of nurses in clinical research and helping them develop their careers. Cordelia herself has recently moved from the clinical trial site environment to working as a monitor for a global Contract Research Organisation. She's still promoting Global Research Nurses wherever she goes.....
