Global Research Nurses’ Network International Nurses Day competition

Prize – An introductory research methods textbook sponsored by Juta and Company (PTY) LTD

Closing date for submissions 12th June 2016

Terms and Conditions 

 

  • Registered nurse or student from a nursing college in any lower middle income country (as defined by the world bank)
  • If you are from one of the following regions in India: - Hyderabad, Indore, Kerala, Delhi, Mumbai or Gujarat. Please state the name of your college and you will be entered into a regional level competition for the above prize.
  • Interested in working on/in research
  • Member of Global Research Nurses’ Network

Terms and conditions:

  1. Applicants will submit an essay of between 300 and 500 words on the topic given on the competition advertisement: “I am a nurse; this is how opportunities to research will help make me resilient.”
  2. The Global Health Network will judge all applications. A short list will be taken forward to a judging panel of senior GRN collaborators and the winners will be announced on the 1st July 2016.
  3. Applications are to submitted via the articles section of the website as follows:-
    • In the textbox provide your
      • Name, Surname, contact number, email address and institution
    • Attach a word document with the following essay “I am a nurse; this is how opportunities to research will help make me resilient.”
  4. GRN may use all material submitted to the competition in future research and for sharing with other nurses on The Global Health Network.
  5. The winners of the competition will be responsible to for communicating with the Network to ensure smooth receipt of their prize.

The judges will evaluate shortlisted entrants based on the rubic provided under resources (in this article)
