Hi Everyone, Happy Nurses Day from us at The Global Health Network. In celebration of the day we would love for you to share your thoughts, images, songs, videos and stories about "why I'm a research nurse" - and tweet with #whyIMaresearchnurse and we will retweet you!

As a research nurse myself, I thought I would share a song that makes me think of my research nurse journey. I started of as a fearful nurse who didn't have confidence in her own judgements and being a clinical research nurse has taught me about how to be a self-leader (more on self-leaddership in July) and most importantly I have learnt to be BRAVE.
The song I am sharing is BRAVE by SARA BARAEILLES (it best sums up #whyIMaresearchnurse)
You can be amazing
You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug
You can be the outcast
Or be the backlash of somebody's lack of love
Or you can start speaking up
Nothing's gonna hurt you the way that words do
When they settle 'neath your skin
Kept on the inside and no sunlight
Sometimes a shadow wins
But I wonder what would happen if you
Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
