In June 2015, FHI 360 launched two new resources designed to increase access to information about contraceptive research and development (R&D) and to promote global knowledge sharing. The first, the Contraceptive Technology Innovation (CTI) Exchange website, includes a resource library that is a one-stop shop for information about contraceptive R&D, quality assurance, and product registration and introduction. The site also includes a new blog, Exchanges, that is a platform for partners to share timely news, events, and commentary on topics that are moving the field of contraceptive innovation forward.
One of the key resources on the CTI Exchange is Calliope, the Contraceptive Pipeline Database, which has information about more than 170 contraceptive products that are in development or are already being marketed on a limited basis.
Partners are encouraged to contribute to both the CTI Exchange and the Calliope database. Please email FHI 360 with your suggestions.
