 The FDA has released their latest device draft guidance on additive manufactured devices for comment. It looks at the broad category of manufacturing encompassing 3-dimensional (3D) printing.
AM is a rapidly growing technology that is frequently used for product research and development in many industries, and for commercial production in some industries (e.g., aerospace, medical devices).
