groups » Clinical research nurses » How would you say GRN activities over the past year or two have benefited you as a member or participant at our events?

Global Research Nurses (GRN) have organized programmes such as workshops which included topics such as Career development for clinical research nurses , Ethics, data collection and data management, etc for nurses in various countries for example Nigeria. I will like to hear from you both those in Nigeria and other countries how these activities have benefited in their career and how they have implemented their learning in research settings.

Please you are free to expand the scope of areas you have benefited , do not limit to career progression/development and consent. We are trying to assess the impact of our programmes

Looking forward to a fruitful discussion.

Thank you

I concur with the thoughts shared above. But we will discuss more of this.

  • Is an impactful experience for the first time gathering with great minds in Nursing from different parts of the country for this mind blowing workshop in Enugu Nigeria at Crystal Palace Hotel.
Through the GRN workshop I was privileged to know exactly what research and researching is all about. It helped me in knowing who a mentor is and how to choose a mentor. Via GRN,I was oppourtuned to be exposed to capacity and career building. Collaboration was a nitty gritty and a hallmark for research development. I was taught on funding and grant writing, criteria for such and need for bridging the gap in Nursing Research.
I thank the organizers and resource persons who ensured they gave us a well detailed training bringing out our hidden expertise.
    I pray for such opportunities.
