About: Dr. Olusegun Adeniyi Epidemiologist | Public Health Expert | Health Systems Strengthening Consultant Dr. Olusegun Adeniyi is a distinguished epidemiologist with extensive expertise in public health, health systems strengthening, and research. With over a decade of experience leading impactful public health initiatives across Africa, he specializes in disease prevention, health promotion, and the application of evidence-based practices in low-resource environments. Dr. Adeniyi holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, with a specialization in correlating anti-tuberculosis drug concentrations with clinical outcomes in TB-HIV co-infected patients. His academic achievements also include an MSc in Pharmacology & Toxicology and a Master of Public Health (MPH). Throughout his career, he has led groundbreaking clinical research, developed comprehensive training programs for health professionals, and offered strategic insights for health policy development. In addition to his work in public health, Dr. Adeniyi has successfully led teams in major pharmaceutical companies across West Africa, driving initiatives in drug development, supply chain management, and improving access to essential medicines.  His leadership in the pharmaceutical industry has significantly enhanced healthcare delivery in the region, ensuring that life-saving medications reach underserved populations. Dr. Adeniyi’s vast experience includes overseeing World Bank, USAID, and Global Fund-funded projects focused on Malaria, Immunization, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Maternal and Child Health, and Non-Communicable Diseases in both West and East Africa.  His role in these initiatives has been pivotal in addressing critical public health challenges and improving healthcare outcomes across the continent. As President and Group Managing Partner of Afriglobal Health, Dr. Adeniyi continues to steer the organization toward inclusive growth.  He oversees key business ventures in pharmaceuticals, laboratory services, diagnostics, and health systems consulting, ensuring that Afriglobal Health remains at the forefront of healthcare innovation.  His dedication to advancing healthcare in Nigeria and beyond is unwavering, and his work continues to shape the future of public health by delivering improved outcomes for the most vulnerable communities.
