As the demand for evidence-based nursing practice continues to grow, so does the need for nurses to engage in research that informs policies, improves patient care, and strengthens healthcare systems. However, many nurses in the Philippines face challenges in research methodology, data analysis, and ethical compliance, limiting their ability to contribute to scientific advancements.
The Navigating Nursing Research: Tools, Techniques, and Ethical Insights workshop aims to address these challenges by equipping nurses with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct high-quality, ethical research. Through practical learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and expert guidance, participants will be empowered to develop and implement research projects that drive evidence-based nursing practices. The workshop also seeks to build a strong nursing research community within Metro Laguna by fostering collaboration among hospitals, local government units, and research organizations.
Workshop Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of nursing research methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches.
- Differentiate between major research designs and select appropriate methods for specific nursing challenges.
