The Health Foundation seeks information about PERSON CENTRED CARE AROUND THE WORLD
How you can help ...
Dear Colleague,
I am writing to ask for your help with a new international environmental scan in person-centred care commissioned by the Health Foundation, an independent charity working to improve the quality of health care in the UK. For more information about the Health Foundation, please see www.health.org.uk.
The aim of this scan is to map key contributors to the fields of research, measurement, innovation and delivery in person-centred care around the world (individuals and research teams as well as networks and organisations) and to provide a clearer and more comprehensive picture of the different schools of thought and their associated activities, to bring about a more person-centred care system.
This project will provide two major outputs: a synthesis report containing a global overview of leading stakeholders involved in person-centred care, including a thematic analysis of emerging conceptual groupings and themes; and a catalogue of key contributors: a spreadsheet database of leading actors in person-centred care, their activities, areas of expertise and contact details. We hope this work will be of value to all those working in the field of person-centred care around the world.
A short briefing explaining the project, our working definition of person-centred care, and how to contribute information can be downloaded here.
