About: I have a broad background in Sociology, with specific training in qualitative methods applied to health research from a gender perspective. My research has focused on women's barriers to prenatal care and adherence to HIV/AIDS treatment. I have also led studies on female drug users' adherence to treatments in Argentina and on prenatal drug use prevention. As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Buenos Aires, I conducted research with a variety of interviewees, including politicians, physicians, indigenous people, immigrants, and drug users, using a range of qualitative techniques. As a co-researcher of studies related to eHealth interventions in Argentina, I analyzed changes in communication between women physicians and evaluated health promotion activities for drug users through websites. Since 2017, I have been a Researcher at CEDES in the Health, Economics, and Society Department as part of Dr. Arrossi's team. In this role, I am responsible for qualitative analysis in various studies, including evaluating the acceptability of HPV self-collection among indigenous women from Salta, an Argentine northwest province, and evaluating the fidelity of the implementation of HPV self-collection in Buenos Aires Province. I also conducted formative research to contribute to the design and implementation of the Latin American Code against Cancer. In recent years, I have specialized in qualitative research applied to the design of mHealth interventions for the prevention of breast and cervical cancer. I have received training in user experience and interaction research, specifically oriented towards designing websites and mobile applications.
